I became aware of the paranormal as a young child while spending the summers with my Aunt  in Olivet.  It was very common to have the bedroom door open and close on its own, or to make my bed and come back an hour later to find the pillows on the floor.  

About 7 years ago, I attended a TAPS event where I learned about real ghost hunting.  Since I already knew that spirits existed, I located other like-minded groups that were just starting to form and worked with them to learn the proper ways to investigate, what to look for, equipment needed, etc.  

After 7 years of working with various groups, I decided to form my own group in 2012.  This is when I met Gary Gierke and together we started the Michigan Area Paranormal Society!
