The Jewett House-Mason, MI
Private Residence-Lansing, MI

We received an emergency call from a lady in Lansing that asked us to come out for an investigation involving a child, the child came out and told his grandma that there is a spirit in his room and if he tells anyone they will hurt him. Grandma says she has a back door knob that is jiggled all the time, and she finds doors open that she just closed. The family was very on edge, and at first we thought we were able to debunk most of the claims of activity. However, upon conducting and reviewing the EVP sessions, we did receive several voices and responses to our questions. We were able to determine the spirits in the home are friendly and were only attempting to keep themselves secret from the adults because they didn't want to be sent away. The family is much more at ease now that they know the truth.
Private Residence-Onandaga, MI
There are three homes on this property which the Grandparent's of the occupants own. All three houses are reported to have activity-this investigation was of the main home.
Before his passing, Grandpa would sit in his favorite chair; all day, every day. If one of our investigators sat in "Grandpa's chair", the K2 meter and the Mel meter would spike, but once we got out of the chair, they would drop back down to normal readings. We also discovered some ceramic birds that were a gift to the Great-Grandmother who was reported to have cherished them. When we scanned the birds with the Mel meter, it would read 4.0 and higher, the cabinet they were in did not show the high readings, so we removed the birds from the cabinet and placed them in other areas of the home. We would receive high readings anywhere we placed the birds, and the K2 meter would spike to red. We could follow the "spirit" or "energy" throughout the house with these birds. We plan on returning to investigate the other two homes on this property.
Elk's Lodge-Grand Haven, MI
The M.A.P.S. Team was invited by the founders of G.R.A.S.P.P. to come do a team investigation with their group. They are also members of MPN. All of our groups strongly believe in the importance of sharing information & working together-it is our hope that a combined effort will in turn help us to understand the paranormal that much better.
There are numerous stories surrounding the Elk's Lodge, and the G.R.A.S.P.P. team frequently uses the lodge for training and investigations.
M.A.P.S. Team Member's Home-Lansing, MI
This is the home of M.A.P.S. team member, Bobby Jereb. She has done extensive research into the history of her home. There are numerous reports of paranormal activity in this home, including apparitions, voices, smells and even being touched. These reports have been made by several family members & friends, as well as the M.A.P.S. team. It was discovered during our investigation that Bobby has a statue which contains the soul of a shaman-like entity. She has decided to keep this statue as the entity is protective of her home and family! Click here to listen to our EVP evidence!
Private Residence-Grass Lake, MI
This is an old funeral home. The old elevator is still in tact, where they used to move the bodies into the home & up to the second floor, where they would prepare & display the deceased.
The resident has numerous stories of strange things happening in the home, including doors opening & closing, lights turning on and off, people being touched, her children seeing spirits and bad smells in the home. Our team had several personal experiences here as well.
Ingham County Courthouse-Mason, MI
Named for Samuel Ingham, Secretary of the Treasury under Andrew Jackson, Ingham County was organized in 1838. In 1840 Mason became the county seat. The town's wide public square had been designed as the county's political and business center. The first county offices were on the sides of the square until 1858 when a courthouse was built at this location. The present building, completed in 1904 was described as a "temple of justice". Governor Fred Warner speaking at the dedication, called it a meeting place for farmers, mechanics, business and professional men. The courthouse has been the center of Ingham Counties activites throughout the twentieth century. In 1971 the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
As you can imagine, we have received alot of claims of activity in this historic location! Our team had several personal experiences and we have scheduled to return for further investigations!

Grand Ledge, MI-Private Residence
This is a private residence in Grand Ledge, MI. While we were there, we had numerous personal experiences. There are several claims of things happening in the home and we were not disappointed! Our team has plans to return to the home, and the owner is also an author, has written a blog about her house! At two separate times during our investigation, we used the flashlight to attempt to elicit a response from the spirits. Both times the flashlight would turn on then off in response to our questions.
